SEASONAL ROAD SCHEDULE
All seasonal entrances to Yellowstone National Park are currently closed in preparation for winter.
Conditions permitting, seasonal roads will re-open for oversnow travel on December 15, 2025. Snowcoach Tours, Snowmobile Rentals, and Snowmobile Tours are also scheduled to begin on December 15.
The road from the North to Northeast Entrance is open year-round, weather permitting.

Annual Christmas Stroll

It’s a time of rosy cheeks and laughter. Join your friends and neighbors as we light the town tree, greet Santa, and stroll the shops seeking just the right gifts! The West Yellowstone Christmas Stroll has been a tradition of this small town for years, and is the perfect way to bring in the holiday season.
This event is free to attend and open to the public.
