All Yellowstone National Park entrances and park roads are now temporarily closed in preparation for the winter season, EXCEPT for the road between the North Entrance and Northeast Entrance (open year-round, weather permitting).
The North Entrance is OPEN! Visitors can enter through the historic Roosevelt Arch, then take Old Gardiner Road directly into Mammoth.
Conditions permitting, all other entrances and roads are projected to open to oversnow travel by snowmobile and snowcoach at 8:00 AM on December 15.
We are proud to operate two outstanding restaurants outside Yellowstone National Park. The Branch Restaurant & Bar is located inside the Holiday Inn® West Yellowstone, featuring a full bar with six 60-inch TVs, and serves steaks, burgers, sandwiches and salads. And yes, we serve bison. The Yellowstone Mine Restaurant is located at the Ridgeline Hotel® at Yellowstone in the town of Gardiner, serving classic American fare in an "Old West" setting, and is adjacent to the Rusty Rail Lounge.
Inside the Park, we operate in-park dining at four of our Yellowstone General Stores; the Old Faithful Basin General Store, Canyon General Store, Fishing Bridge General Store and Lake General Store. We also offer Lunches to Go, available from both The Branch Restaurant and The Yellowstone Mine, that are perfect for taking with you into the Park or on any of our Guided Tours.
