Check brake fluid level. |

Check for spare belt. |

Lube jack shaft bearings. |

Lube drive shaft bearing. |

Lube suspension and steering. |

Check spare spark plugs (1 per). |

Torque cylinder heads (cold), if leaking. (Check LH cylinder head for oily residue.)

Adjust throttle free play & oil pump lever.
|
|
On the liquids, water pump belt wear width is .25" or 6.36 mm.
Ask Randy.

Adjust and align track.
|
|
Ski Alignment (1/8 - ¼ toe out).
|
|
Check wear bars, replace if under 40%.
|
|
Torque tie rod ends(28-30 ft-lbs), steering arm bolts, ski saddle
bolts check for cotter pin, trailing arm bolts (40-45 ft-lbs).
|
|
Torque suspension mount bolts (7/16 = 60 ft-lbs, 3/8 = 40 ft-lbs).
|
|
Headlights, Hi/Lo beam.
|
|
Taillights.
|
|
Brake Light.
|
|
Auxiliary shut-off and throttle safety switch tests.
|
|
Check brake lever for excess travel.
|
|
Check cooling system.
|
|
Check for unmarked damage.
|
|
Adjust drive chain, Torque adjuster bolt to 20 inch pounds, then back
out 3/4 turn, on T.T. back out ½ turn .

|
Torque drive clutch 45 FT LBS.
|
|
Check Sled off wall sheet. |
